The premiere dining experience of the Illawarra has to be Caveau in Keira St, Wollongong. The daily degustation menu, cookery school and seasonal events and wine nights have rightfully earned itself Wollongong's ONLY restaurant to be awarded a hat in the 2011 SMH Good Food Guide, now for 6 years in a row. I have been drooling over Caveau's menu since Peter Sheppard opened it with photos below as found on their website.
